There is no single answer, because there is no single pathway. The first thing you need to emigrate to Australia is clarity: knowing which type of visa matches your plan. It is not the same to come to study, to arrive with a job offer, to join your partner, or to explore skilled migration — each pathway has its own process and its own conditions.
That said, there are elements that repeat across almost every process. You will need a valid passport and your personal documents in order: study certificates, police clearances, and employment records, depending on the pathway you choose. Many documents issued in Spanish require certified translation into English. It is also common for the process to include health and character checks, and for English to play a role — how much weight it carries depends on the type of visa and, in some cases, on the institution or the employer.
Just as important as the documents is the order of the process. A common mistake is to start at the end — buying tickets, quitting your job, choosing a city — before confirming that the pathway you chose really matches your situation. The healthy order is the reverse: first understand the options, then prepare the documents, and only then make the big decisions.
