The student visa works the same, in essence, for every nationality — including Colombian. The general process is the same: choose a course at an institution authorised to enrol international students, obtain the confirmation of enrolment, take out student health cover, and lodge the application with your documents.
So what changes if you are Colombian? Mainly the logistics. Your study certificates and other documents are issued in Colombia and in Spanish, so they normally require certified translation into English. It is also worth allowing time for local procedures when gathering everything — this is the part of the process that depends most on your home country.
English is another regular piece of the process: the level expected and how it is demonstrated depends on the course and the institution, not on your nationality. And as with every student application, your study plan needs its own coherence: what you will study, why, and how it connects with your background.
